Kenneth Boser Obituary – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Kenneth Robert Boser, at the age of 67. Ken died peacefully at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Friday, May 21, 2021. Ken was born in Edmonton AB, but spent the majority of his young life in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He moved to Fort McMurray in 1972 and lived there for 30+ years. He was an active member of the community, where he volunteered for various charitable organizations such as the Fort McMurray Lion’s Club, where he eventually became the President of the Fort McMurray Chapter. Ken was also a member of the Local 955 Operating Engineers Union, where he worked as a Crane Operator for 40+ years.
Shirley Maye Boser Obituary – Shirley Boser was born in Helena Montana on July 11th, 1933 to her parents Ed and Evelyn DeVries. She grew up in Everett Washington and had a very close relationship to both her parents and grandparents. Shirley met husband Bill Boser in the airline business. The two of them eloped and married in 1961. They had three children before renewing their wedding vows in Maui for their 30th anniversary. Shirley was also the proud Grandmother to two boys. Shirley excelled at being a realtor and was a top agent in the Burien area where she lived. She loved spending time with her kids and was happy to have them around her as often as possible. She reluctantly retired in 2011.
LeRoy Eugene Boser Sr. Obituary – LeRoy was born June 11th, 1936 in Little Falls Minnesota. Born to the parents of Alfred Boser and Hortensia of the Cramer family which she preferred Marie Boser. Religious background was Catholic. Leroy had 3 bothers – Dale, Dennis, and Cleo. Leroy had 6 sisters – Virginia, Betty, Donna, Lyla, Kathy, and Eni. Leroy had 3 sons, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Leroy attended school through the 6th grade. At age 11 or 12 he began to work full time on the family grain farm. As a young adult, his parents especially his father instilled hard work ethics. They always had a special relationship. Around age 14 the family moved to Bothell Washington. Leroy went to work at the cemetery with his father until around age 20. He then started at Jay Mills Construction Company and learned how to operate track hoes and equipment. Moved onto Three Way Construction as a heavy equipment operator and joined the union. He retired at Seaport Construction around age 66 which was only due to an auto accident. Otherwise he was not ready to retire.
