Dale Devilli Death – Obituary News: Dale R. Devilli, 63, of Lawrence Township passed away the morning of September 19, 2022. The husband of Allison L. Devilli (nee Garton), Dale was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Joseph F. Sr. and Anna J. Devilli (nee Stevens). Dale was a 1977 graduate of Bridgeton High School.
Dale was an avid outdoorsman, and handyman. Out of his countless hobbies, he perfected bow hunting, fishing, and gardening; the latter would grow a vast variety of fruits and vegetables every summer. As an animal and nature lover, Dale enjoyed walking through the various trails around his property with his dogs and family. He was the picture-perfect husband and father who valued family above all else.
Although Dale had many joys in life, none could compete with the love he had for his wife and two girls. He worked endlessly to give his daughters a blessed life, sending them to elite schools and constantly supporting them in all of their endeavors. Dale was considered the rock in the family. He was their protector, their leader, and their home.
He adored his wife, Allison, to whom he was married for 28 years. Their wedding took place in Disney World, which would later become a regular travel destination for their family and be a reminder of that magical day in 1994.
Dale worked as a millwright for Lassonde-Pappas in Seabrook. He will be remembered for his years of expertise and vigorous work ethic. He hardly ever missed a day of work and took pride in his job.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two daughters, Danielle and Karli Devilli, siblings, Doris Waller (Larry), Joseph F. Devilli Jr., and Harry Shaw (Shirley), several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and by his beloved dogs, Olive, Arlow, and Paxil. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Joann Devilli and Mary Schmitt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday morning September 26th at 11:30 at the Freitag Funeral home, 137 W. Commerce Street in Bridgeton. The interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Millville. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday morning between 10 and 11:30.
